    Job Purpose

    The Chief Executive Officer will oversee the effective leadership and strategic direction of the college, Dudley College Enterprises Ltd and Dudley Academies Trust in fulfilling their mission as determined by the Corporation and the Trust, inspiring and motivating those engaged in the activities of teaching and training. The Chief Executive Officer will serve as Chief Accounting Officer of Dudley College of Technology, Director of Dudley College Enterprises Ltd and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Dudley Academies Trust.

    A key element of the Chief Executive Officer's role will be to take the lead in ensuring the college, Dudley College Enterprises Ltd and Dudley Academies Trust are providing excellent and highly-regarded teaching, learning and training locally, nationally and internationally. This will enable the college, Dudley College Enterprises Ltd and Dudley Academies Trust to play key roles in the development of education provision able to anticipate the changing local and national context.

    Job Purpose

    The College Principal is responsible for the development and delivery of outstanding provision for college apprentices, full time learners aged 16-18 years, full time A level learners aged 16-18 years, full time and part time adult education learners and higher skills learners. Working closely with colleagues, the College Principal will foster a culture of innovation in respect of teaching and learning and curriculum development in all curriculum areas. The College Principal will oversee the day to day operations of the Dudley learning quarter, the Construction Apprenticeship Training Centre and any other delivery centres for the provision detailed above. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Officers, Vice Principal, Assistant Principals and managers across the college, the College Principal will lead on the development and implementation of cross college quality and business improvement strategies. Working alongside the Corporation, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Officers and senior colleagues, the College Principal will play a pivotal role in the determination and oversight of the strategic development of Dudley College of Technology, its subsidiaries and associated organisations (including the Dudley Academies Trust). The College Principal will support the Chief Executive Officer in developing and maintaining productive relationships with key stakeholders and will play a significant role in representing the college externally. Alongside the Chief Executive, the College Principal will provide inspirational leadership to the staff and students of Dudley College of Technology.

    Job Purpose

    The Chief Officer Finance & Resources will support the Chief Executive Officer, other senior post holders and the Corporation by developing and providing pro-active leadership on financial strategy and control and human, capital and physical resource development across the college. The post holder will be a key member of the college’s executive team, Director of Dudley College Enterprises Ltd and a member of the Dudley Academies Trust board. The Chief Officer Finance & Resources will ensure the college’s financial objectives are achieved. The Chief Officer Finance & Resources will provide effective support to the Chief Executive Officer in the control, review, management and development of the college’s and Dudley Academies Trust’s finance, business planning and risk management systems. In line with the college’s strategic plan, the Chief Officer Finance & Resources is also the senior post holder responsible for the development and operation of the college’s human resource management framework, the planning of staff resources and the ongoing maintenance of good staff relations in the college. Working alongside the Corporation, College Principal, Chief Officers and senior colleagues, the Chief Officer Finance & Resources will play a pivotal role in the determination and oversight of the strategic development of Dudley College of Technology, its subsidiaries and associated organisations, including the Dudley Academies Trust.     Job Purpose

    The Chief Officer Business Development and Dudley College Worldwide will ensure effective relationships are developed with new and existing business partners, in order to create opportunities and secure contracts for training and development in companies and to support delivery of income targets in line with the college’s strategic objectives. The Chief Officer Business Development and Dudley College Worldwide is responsible for the college’s employer engagement activities, the recruitment of apprentices and also the effective operation of business partnerships including franchise and external delivery partners locally, nationally and internationally. The Chief Officer Business Development and Dudley College Worldwide is also responsible for developing and managing the college’s worldwide operations. The Chief Officer Business Development and Dudley College Worldwide will be responsible for the effective operation of Dudley College Worldwide (Dudley College Enterprises Ltd) international operations and will work closely with in-country delivery teams in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere. The Chief Officer Business Development and Dudley College Worldwide will support the Chief Executive Officer in developing and maintaining productive relationships with key stakeholders and will play a significant role in representing the college externally.

    The Executive Director Estates and Capital Projects is the senior post responsible for all matters relating to the college’s property, health and safety, estates and facilities management. The Executive Director Estates and Capital Projects will oversee the strategic development and operational management of estates and capital projects, in line with the college’s commitment to sustainability and value for money.

    Job Purpose

    The Assistant Principal Marketing and Public Affairs will shape and manage the development and maintenance of marketing activities which effectively meet the college’s strategic objectives. Reporting to the College Principal and working closely with the college’s curriculum and employer facing teams, with key staff in the Dudley Academies Trust and across the college’s wider operations, the Assistant Principal Marketing and Public Affairs will develop, implement and evaluate an integrated brand and marketing strategy to promote the College’s vison and objectives, drive brand presence and reputation, and increase student numbers. The Assistant Principal Marketing and Public Affairs will raise the external profile of the college locally, regionally and nationally and will build trust with colleagues, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation and demonstrate high integrity. Through strong leadership the Assistant Principal Marketing and Public Affairs will motivate and inspire the marketing team and other staff to deliver measurable outputs.
