Dudley College has developed a customer service approach to its promotion and ownership of quality, based upon the maintenance of the following awards to ensure excellence of process, development of staff and care for the needs of the customer.
Investors in People - Awarded April 1994

- Post recognition assessment (3 yearly) assessor visit (duration 5 days).
- UK standard - Government sponsored.
- Assessed every 3 years.
- Orientation - Development of staff as greatest asset.

Customer Service Excellence – Awarded June 2009
- 3 yearly recognition by external assessment (duration of assessment 3 days for customer service excellence in the public sector).
- Assessed every year.
- Orientation - Customer service.
Positive About Disabled People - Awarded September 1995

- Annual re-assessment by Employment Services for compliance.
- Orientation - Customer Care.
'Matrix' - Quality Standards for Information Advice & Guidance Services - Awarded April 2003

- Achieved following a 3-day inspection by 'matrix' assessors who drew evidence from printed materials, client feedback, interviews with clients, staff and observation of guidance processes. Gaining 'matrix quality standard' enables Guidance Services to demonstrate that they operate to national quality standards for information, advice and guidance services.

Training Quality Standard - Awarded February 2011
- Achieved following a 2 day inspection by external assessors.
- Standard developed by the Skills Funding Agency for England.
- Assessed every 3 years.
- Orientation - Meeting the training needs of employers effectively.
