Courses
International students must meet certain minimum requirements in order to study here.
For the International Foundation Programme we require a minimum International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or equivalent, score of 5.0. For further education courses and Higher National Diplomas we require a minimum score of 5.5.
We have raised the minimum level of English language course that Tier 4 (General) students can study, to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Before you can apply to study an English language course in the UK, you will need to show that your English language skills are at CEFR level B1 or higher. (There are exceptions if you are a government-sponsored student or if you want to study a pre-seasonal English course that meets certain requirements.)

The QAA awarded the Dudley’s Higher Education provision a score of 22 points from a maximum of 24 across six broad categories to earn the QAA’s highest accolade. The course was particularly commended for the teaching, learning resources, support and guidance and it progression achievements onto top-up degree courses and post-graduate courses.
The Higher National Diploma course prides itself on its international recruitment with more than 30% of students coming from abroad and this is due to the strong links between the Business Division and the College’s International office.
