With origins which can be traced back to the l9th century, Dudley College has successfully adapted to contemporary demands by combining traditional high quality British education and value-for-money with up-to-date innovation. Our aim is, and has always been, to prepare students from the local area, the rest of the UK and from all over the world, for University and the world of work, in a friendly, safe and mature learning environment.

Constant striving for improvement remains central to the College's culture. As a Government College, we are subject to regular external independent inspection and assessment. As a holder of the UK Government’s Charter Mark and Investors In People, Dudley College has achieved widespread recognition for innovation and excellence. Our record matches our reputation, with high pass rates, especially for international students, being a main feature. At the heart of our academic success is the extended and flexible choice of course provision.

There are Access/Foundation courses, English Language courses, 'A' Levels, Higher National Diplomas: all full-time courses, as well as a range of part-time courses you can choose from as add-ons to enrich your main programme. We will give you all the help you need to make the right choices and shape your own programme.

Close links with industry are also crucial to ensure we provide the training and skills required for the real world of work. Both local and international companies are actively involved in defining the College curriculum, and many of our teaching staff are experienced professionals from the world of business, industry and commerce.

Today, we have a dedicated team of almost 900 full-time and part-time teaching staff providing high standards of teaching.

Most international students will be based at the main Broadway Campus (where the English Language Centre is based) and/or the Mons Hill Campus, both in Dudley. Other campuses include our Castle View site and the Motor Vehicle Centre (both a short walk from the main Broadway Campus).

International students are integrated into classes with UK students whenever possible, providing an opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds, absorbing British customs and culture and benefiting from the excellent support services available to International students.
