College Facilities

The College Libraries

Our Broadway and Mons Hill Campuses each have a ground floor library containing books and other material appropriate to the subjects taught on the campuses. The libraries hold a combined total of over 50,000 volumes, most of which may be borrowed. Seating is provided for 230, including silent study facilities. We also offer:

• On-line library catalogues
• Periodicals (also called journals or magazines)
• Audio-visual material
• Electronic information: CD Roms
• Internet
• Photocopying
• Postage stamps and stationery.

The Resource Based Learning Centre (RBL)

With over 100 workstations, interactive multimedia machines, the latest software applications and free internet access (including multi-lingual overlays!), the Centre is a superb resource in which to complete assignments or learn new skills whilst working at your own pace. It is open 5 days a week including weekday evenings.

A Level Academy

If you are looking to study A Levels, then our brand new ‘academy’ is the place for you. Fully equipped, with the latest learning technology, a cyber café and a specialist learning centre for concentrated study, ‘academy’ is the place to study.

‘academy’ offers you the chance to join a community of around 3000 full-time students.You can choose new courses and meet new friends.We believe that the happy, active atmosphere at the College, supported by the high quality of teaching, will help you to reach your full potential.

Offering nearly 40 subjects at AS and A Level taught by an experienced team of subject specialists, we provide enormous opportunities for you to develop personally as well as academically. Students at ‘academy’ are involved in a whole range of social and sporting activities, which are a feature of life in a large college.

This brand new social learning space will provide students on A Level programmes with a contemporary work area, the best educational experience possible and an opportunity to succeed.

Student Union

At Dudley College we believe that all our students deserve high class, quality education. This is complemented with a high class, quality social calendar. We have an active and lively Student Union that we encourage all students to get involved in. Our student social life doesn’t end there. We have Christmas parties and end of year parties too.
