Progression Agreements

The Birmingham, Black Country & Solihull Lifelong Learning Network (BBC&S LLN) has developed a range of progression agreements for learners progressing from Advanced Apprenticeships, Access and Level 3 NVQ programmes into Higher Education (HE). A progression agreement is a formal understanding between institutions and is part of the solution in breaking down barriers to HE for vocational learners by providing a clearly mapped and well supported route.

The agreements provide a range of progression routes for learners onto Foundation degrees and HNCs offered through a number of institutions. If you study a vocational course at Dudley College and want to progress onto HE, Dudley College has progression agreements in place for the following curriculum areas:

• Health Science
• Engineering
• Construction
• Health and Social Care
• Early Years
