Estates Efficiency
The estates running costs have risen per student head due to a temporary reduction in student numbers for 22/23, which has rectified in 23/24. Inflation, and the college’s continued investment to improve the college environment have also increased costs during the 22/23 year.
Figures are adjusted for inflation using a base year of 2013/14 and exclude VAT

Room Utilisation
Utilisation figures are now back to and exceeding in some cases pre COVID figures. Utilisation dropped in 19/20 as new sites were added, and was affected by COVID during 20/21 and 21/22.

This has seen a slight increase per student due to a particularly cold winter period where heating use increased, as shown by the corresponding increase in gas.
