Students March Out to Impress Guests

Public Services students present Help for Heroes ChequePublic Services students celebrated the end of their course by holding a Pass Out Parade at Dudley Kingswinford Rugby Football Club on Tuesday 19th June.

Over 200 students took part in the parade entertaining invited guests with demonstrations that showed their levels of communication, teamwork, fitness and leadership skills.

Over 500 invited guests including families and dignitaries were in attendance to show their support to the students. The parade marks the successful completion of the course for the students.

As well as their academic studies the students have worked extremely hard in all weather and conditions throughout the year, participating in various residential visits to develop leadership and teamwork skills. Paul Rigden, Centre Manager said, "We are very proud of our students who have risen to the many challenges that the course has brought. They have developed their personal skills along the way, which will help them in their future lives and careers."

During their course, the students also participated in a number of fundraising activities, including raising a fantastic £1,000 for Help for Heroes.
