Dudley College Arts Festival
A large collection of creative work produced by the Art, Design, Media and Performing Arts students of Dudley College was on show at Dudley College's annual Art Festival last night.
The opening night preview included art exhibitions, live music & live performances at the Mons Hill campus.
The students studying Art, Design, Media & Performing Arts courses at the college, have created an array of eye-catching designs & performances which are bound to catch the imaginations of art lovers throughout the West Midlands and would like to invite all to come and see them.
The Exhibitions will be open daily from 9.30am - 4.30pm at Mons Hill from 19th - 22nd June.
Centre Manager Ben Gamble said 'Our students have worked very hard this year and have produced some outstanding innovative work, we have had lots of success with university applications and the show is a testament to this'
Organiser John Jones said 'This is the last year we will be having our festival at Mons Hill, next year we will be in our new building and our students will make this festival one to remember'
Student Yolanda Gulyas age 20 from Wolverhampton whose final show called "The Mix" brings together old and new illustrations to create a stunning design of a 1930 Rococo lady alongside modern graffiti.
Yolanda has secured a place at DeMontfort University in Leicester, where she will continue her art and design studies.
