Dudley College Open Day Launch Free Community Courses

Dudley College will be opening their doors to prospective students on Saturday 16 June from 10am - 2pm at the Broadway site in Dudley. If visitors are looking to study something new, gain a qualification or refresh existing skills there will be something for everyone and adults wanting to guarantee their place on our popular courses can enrol on the day.

Whether you are leaving school next summer, looking to enrol on a professional course to enhance your career prospects, or wanting to continue studying to prepare for university, college staff will be on hand to advise and enrol visitors onto one of the wide range of courses starting in September.

The college has also introduced a range of bite-sized Community Courses which are free to enrol onto. With courses from creative crafts to carpentry, beauty to brickwork, GCSE maths to music technology and computing to technical theatre, there’s an exciting new range of courses on offer.

Enrolling onto a bite-sized course is free with the Community Learning Voucher available on the college website and in the press, although we may need to see some evidence of where you live or benefit documentation, and there may still be a fee for materials and registration.

Bob Chapman, Director of Learning at the college said "Our Open Days are always popular as they are a great way to find out what's on offer at the college. I'd encourage anyone who's considering starting a course in September to call in on Saturday and find out what full and part time courses they can enrol onto."
The Open Day is very informal and parents, family and friends are more than welcome to come along. Visitors not able to attend can find out more or apply to join a full or part time course on line at or call 01384 363 363.
