Over 500 students took part in Dudley College's annual 'Freshers Fayre' this week, the event marks the start of a range of activities designed to enhance students' time at college.
The event which is organised by the Students' Union offers opportunities for students to get advice on health issues, counselling services, road safety along with personal safety and tackling crime from a team of officers from Crime Prevention.
Sophia Daly, Student Union Support Officer, said; "The day was a great success. College life is not just about study it's also about making new friends, trying out new things and encouraging each other to take part in the fun."
Students commented that the event had been a really positive experience giving them the opportunity to sign up for the variety of activities on offer and that it enabled them to meet a wide cross-section of their fellow students.
