Training is the key to success
Dudley College and Unite the Union have been working together to provide quality driven learning programmes for local/national companies.
The launch of an Adult Apprenticeship programme earlier this year saw 70 people sign up to learn at work through Dudley College, supported by their company and Unite the Union.
Jamie Walker Regional Learning Organiser in the West Midlands for Unite the Union launched a series of NVQ/ITQ levels 2 and 3 training programmes offered through Dudley College to companies, which enabled employees to improve on the skills they already have or learn new skills to improve future business success.
"Dudley College's aim is to respond to the needs of companies and their employees. Participating in skill updating, boosts the confidence of employees and gives them the edge when applying for new jobs or promotion in the workplace." said Terry Guy Sales Manager at Dudley College.
The success of this partnership working to date, has led to Unite the Union and Dudley College signing a learning agreements to ensure businesses continue to benefit from up to date training.
