Apprenticeships for the future
Dudley College is supporting National Apprenticeship Week with an apprenticeship open day on Saturday 12th February from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm at its Broadway Campus.
Staff are on hand to offer advice and information about apprenticeships in a wide range of areas. Apprenticeships offer anyone aged 16 plus, the chance to start a career path, gain qualifications and earn money at the same time.
During the day students can try their hand at many fun activities showcasing apprenticeship options and the type of work an apprentice could expect to do in the workplace. This hands–on approach to the day will give students the opportunity to try out a few options before they decide which route to take.
The event also brings the opportunity for those who may have left school a couple of years ago but have been unable to find a career, the chance to start on an apprenticeship straightaway as there are local companies with vacancies that have asked Dudley College to help them find an apprentice for their company.
