Dudley market hosts college stall

College students launched their first weekly market stall in Dudley -  to promote their top-quality printing, gift and promotional gifts business.

The students are part of Aspire Works which is based at Dudley College and provides training opportunities for young people with learning disabilities.

As part of their course they are using Dudley market to shout about the business which prints promotional and gift items including mugs, canvases, bags, t shirts and even chopping boards.

Customers can choose from a long list of items and have them personalised with their own photos and messages at affordable prices.

Aspire students are manning the stall and taking orders from customers every Tuesday and then dispatching orders from their print works on the college campus.

Ann Killin, Dudley Aspire director, said: “What better place than Dudley’s new market for our students to set their stall out and take orders for the business. It is a great experience for them to get out and sell their products as well as providing something different for Dudley shoppers looking to buy affordable personalised gifts.”
