College students exhibit at Birmingham City University’s School of Art on Margret Street
Dudley College Foundation Art and Design students’ work has been exhibited at Birmingham City University’s School of Art on Margret Street.
The students’ work was entered along with other colleges in the region and 7 out of the 34 works on exhibition were from Dudley College students.
The theme of the exhibition was ‘Product of Society’ and the judges from the University, Franziska Schenk and John Wigley stated that the entries were of a very high standard and their own degree learners didn’t realise that it was college work that was on display.
The Foundation Art and Design course is level 3 / 4 and students can progress to this course after successfully completing A-levels or an Extended Diploma in any art background. The course aims to build upon individual skills and explore a range of areas within art and design.
The exhibition ran until the end of November 2015 at Birmingham City University’s School of Art on Margret Street.
