Opportunities ready and waiting for apprentices
Dudley College has put a call out to individuals across the borough and beyond looking to learn whilst they earn with over 50 immediate apprenticeship vacancies waiting to be filled.
The college works with employers both in Dudley and across the country to provide an end-to-end service in matching candidates to opportunities and supporting them through their on-the-job training through to achievement of qualifications.
Apprenticeships currently open to applicants range from administration positions with Homeserve in Dudley through engineering with Ash & Lacy Building Products in West Bromwich to warehousing at XPO Logistics in Manchester. All of the apprenticeships offered are paid posts and provide individuals aged 16 or over with the opportunity to combine working with studying for a work-based qualification - from GCSEs or equivalent up to degree level.
Dudley College has been recognised for its apprenticeship success rates, being ranked third in the country and with achievement rates for intermediate and advanced apprentices some 20% above the national average.
It currently has over 2400 individuals enrolled on apprenticeships following a wide range of frameworks at an intermediate, advanced or higher level.
