Higher Awards Ceremony 2016

Dudley College celebrated its annual graduation ceremony on Friday 2nd December with over 120 students receiving awards in Higher National and Professional Qualifications.

A packed hall of over 250 family and friends of the graduands were entertained by the college's musical theatre students as the graduands processed through the Dudley Learning Quarter to the main hall at The Broadway Campus.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome from Principal Lowell Williams followed by the presentation of certificates by Mr David Whatton QPM, Vice Chair or Governors.

Principal Lowell Williams said: "Many of the people graduating have studied part-time alongside their full-time work or bringing up a family and we much commend them on their commitment  to their studies.

"Dudley College strives to provide first-class learning opportunities for its students and this is evident from the calibre of this year's graduates.  I am exceptionally pleased that we are able to share in the recognition of these students at our 2016 graduation ceremony, and wish them every success as they use their new qualifications as a passport to enhancing their  employment or Higher Education."
