Course Content
The course consists of 13 units, 5 mandatory and 8 optional which may include the following:
• Principles of business
• Principles of business communication and information
• Communicating in a business environment
• Principles of administration
• Manage personal and professional development
• Develop a presentation, produce business documents and spreadsheet software
• Principles of leadership and management
• Employee rights and responsibilities
Course Assessment
The assessment for this course is predominately portfolio based and evidence for assessment may be generated through a range of diverse activities including assignment and project work, case studies, workplace assessment, role play and oral presentations.
Materials
You will need pens, paper, ring binder, dividers and plastic wallets.
Qualifications
NCFE Diploma in Business Administration Level 3
Progression
The natural route for progression would be to gain employment, however learners who achieve this qualification could progress to NCFE Level 4 in Business Administration or a Business Apprenticeship. This qualification has been allocated UCAS points for those wishing to go to university.
Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs grade 4 or above including English, maths or equivalent.
Or
Level 2 Certificate in Administration and grade 4 GCSE in English and maths.
