Course Content
You will learn about the theory of business in units such as business purposes, business organisations, recruitment and selection, customer service, financial forecasting and promoting and branding. These units aim to help you understand the types of business, the differences between them and then how to finance a business and create basic accounts along with how to promote and brand a product in the most effective way.
There is a huge variety of units available for you to take part in that will help you to develop your understanding of business.
Course Assessment
Externally set exams for Finance and Marketing.
Further assessment by internal exams, presentations and business reports.

Qualifications
Business BTEC Level 2 Certificate
Progression
You may progress onto the BTEC Extended Diploma in Business Level 3 or any other Level 3 programme, providing you meet the entry criteria to the course.
Entry Requirements
4 GCSE’s which must include a grade 4 or above in Maths or English. The remaining GCSE’S in business related subjects at grades 3, or Merit at Level 1 course with Level 2 Functional English or Maths.
