Course Content
There will be 7 mandatory units and 6 optional units over this 2 year course.
Mandatory units:
• Exploring business
• Developing a marketing campaign
• Personal and business finance
• Managing an event
• International business
• Principals of management
• Business decision making
The optional units may include areas of study such as marketing, law, accounts, human resources etc. which are designed to link to relevant occupational areas.
Course Assessment
You will be internally assessed via professional business reports, presentations; in class controlled assessments, independent research tasks as well as 4 externally set exams.

Standard study materials and course text book.
Qualifications
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Business.

Entry Requirements
5 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above including Maths and English, or a Level 2 in Business or related qualification with a Level 2 Merit plus English and Maths Functional Skills at Level 2 .
