110 Carrying out MIG Welding Processes
111 Carrying out TIG Welding Processes

Predominantly assessed through assignments and practical/portfolio work.

Progression
On completion of this qualification candidates may progress into employment or to the following
City & Guilds qualifications:
- Level 2 Certificate in Engineering (2850) Fabrication & Welding
- Apprenticehip programme at level 2
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements to study for this qualification, but you must demonstrate a genuine interest in this subject, be prepared to follow high standards of behaviour and display a positive attitude to study.
You must be prepared to be working towards GCSE English and GCSE Maths, or a Functional Skill at Entry 3 level or above.
An initial assessment of your English and maths may be required depending on your qualifications to check you have the skills needed to successfully complete this course.
